independence1776, to fill your wish for SWG Holiday Party! I have tried to include fics that best suit your preferences. As I still have many TRSB fics to read myself, this list is not complete by any means.
Who chose the stars by Grond
Eöl's story, and also Maeglin's coming of age story. Amazing view to the life of first Elves, and how they saw the world. Non-abusive Eöl, but describes their relationship in a realistic way. Mostly gen (there is obviously some Eöl/Aredhel). The story ends before they leave Nan Elmoth.
Goldilocks and the White Bird by Aipilosse
Sam Gamgee's children meet a white crebain that is not what it seems. This is such a good mood story about adventures and simple summers of childhood and also about redemption.
Self-portraiture by Ancalimë (Cymbidia)
Sauron, and the portrait of Sauron, through the ages. Very original, and I enjoyed it a lot.
Moonspark by SkyEventide
Celebrimbor returns to life in Valinor. Introspective and serene story, beautifully written.
A Visit To The Dwarves by Grundy
This is another story that features non-abusive Eöl, and his relationship with his son who is just an elfling here. A child's POV is fascinating.
i'll hold the pieces together with my hands by Dialux
Awesome portrayal of Maedhros and his relationship with Fingolfin post-Thangorodrim. Maedhros is a strategist.
And last but not least:
where no storms come by arriviste
I have only just started to read this gem, but I already can rec it, especially as it features Maglor and Elrond who you mentioned as your favourite characters. Happens at the end of the Third Age.
